Buds International School Phuket

Buds International School Phuket is the oldest established child care facility and provider of quality education in Phuket. At Buds, we offer schooling from nursery to primary levels. This boutique international school in Chalong, Phuket is designed specifically as a nursery, kindergarten and primary school facility in order to provide your child with the best possible learning environment. We cater to international and Thai children between the ages of 12 months and 4 years. We are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Extra English and Thai classes from 3pm to 4pm and aftercare to 5pm is also available. Emphasis is placed on teaching your child how to get along and communicate with children of their own age from enthusiastic and experienced staff. The playing of games in a group, sing-a-longs, the sharing of toys, and other activities are all designed to help develop your child’s social skills at a young age.   As the children progress and get older, we begin to introduce the core subjects English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies in order to prepare them for secondary education. We are dedicated to making your child’s stay at Buds International School Phuket a happy and fulfilling experience. Our goal is to make your child’s learning experience as enjoyable as possible so that they develop a lifelong love for learning.   We have a very low ratio of children to staff. This ensures that your child is always supervised and encouraged. Our classes are limited to 14 children per teacher again to maximise the child’s learning experience and to insure your child’s safety we maintain at least a 3.5 to 1 pupil to staff ratio. Our staff have a genuine passion for working with children and are dedicated to ensuring they learn, grow and develop into more accomplished individuals. All of our Thai teachers speak English and both they and the school are licensed by Phuket province. Our teachers all are native English speakers with college degrees and TEFL certifications.   Transportation in new school busses with Western safety seats is available. We welcome all prospective parents to visit us between 9.30am and 2pm and see the school in operation.   We are conveniently located on the main road from Chalong Circle to Phuket Town just 1.2 kilometres North of the Chalong Circle. Coming from Chalong we will be on your right.
